The Focus Math Cadre helped districts strengthen math instruction in grades K–9 by building shared vision, aligning systems, and testing solutions through short learning cycles. Rooted in collaboration and data, district teams moved from planning to practice, improving instruction and student performance while laying the groundwork for sustainable, systemwide change.

The Opportunity Cadre supported Florida districts in rethinking how they identify, recruit, and support students for advanced coursework. By combining data analysis, cross-departmental collaboration, and targeted interventions, district teams increased enrollment, strengthened student confidence, and built lasting systems for opportunity.

The COVID Recovery Cadre engaged education leaders from four school districts in a continuous improvement model to address learning loss in Pre-Algebra and Algebra during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each district implemented an intervention in the 2020–2021 school year that was designed from its unique problem statement and root cause analysis.

The Data Impact Cadre was a short-term, intensive learning experience with four virtual sessions over six weeks. District teams explored what effective continuous improvement and data literacy look like, identified the conditions that support this work, and applied their learning to strengthen student performance on the Algebra I end-of-course exam.

The Five Conditions Cadre convened education leaders from five school districts between October 2019 and February 2020. Participants took part in a series of Learning Walks where each district shared a promising practice tied to one of the Five Conditions That Support Great Teaching and received feedback on how to strengthen it.

The High-Quality Instructional Materials Cadre convened eight districts during the 2021–22 school year to strengthen the selection of high-quality math instructional materials. Through a series of virtual learning sessions, participants developed student-centered processes grounded in vision, collaboration, and strong systems. Lessons from this work also informed statewide policy reform, leading to earlier adoption timelines that will improve future materials selection and implementation across Florida.

The Professional Learning Cadre brought together district teams to strengthen the implementation of high-quality instructional materials and to share best practices that supported change management and sustainability. Participants deepened their understanding of effective professional learning systems and developed approaches that continue to benefit their districts.
